Why We Love It Here
More and more young families have moved into the Roncesvalles neighbourhood, and it’s easy to see why. Roncesvalles is a fun place to live and has some of the best restaurants in the city, as well as some very good public schools. This community has a neighbourly feel; you’ll see many dog walkers and families with strollers in the area.
What To Do & See
This area has a couple of cute, smaller parks along Sorauren that have been decorated by local artists. There’s almost any type of store you could need along Roncesvalles Avenue, so you can walk to do all of your errands or to visit any of the cute parks and great restaurants. Roncesvalles is a very walkable neighbourhood and is well-serviced by public transit, including the King and Dundas streetcars with easy access to Dundas West subway station.
The Local Claim to Fame
Roncesvalles is full of local gems, from the shops to the parks. High Park is within walking distance of Roncesvalles real estate, with swimming pools, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, bike paths, a dog park, a zoo, live theatre performances, and much more.
Roncesvalles Real Estate
Roncesvalles real estate consists of mostly freehold semis and detached homes. Because you’re farther into the city, semis are quite common and parking is limited. There are more condo developments coming up in the area, including some very nice loft condo buildings along Sorauren Avenue and around Howard Park. Roncesvalles real estate has gained a lot of popularity over the last 10 years, and the price increase in the area shows it.
